Troopers were called to the crash around 3:56 p.m. at Caesar Creek State Park.
The pilot made the emergency landing after the plane’s engine reportedly failed, according to OHSP
The plane, an Aeronca 11AC, departed and crashed in Caesar Creek Lake due to a rough-running engine, a preliminary crash report from the Federal Aviation Administration read.
OSHP is continuing to investigate the crash.
