Smoke showing when crews arrive at Dayton house fire

Crews responded to a fire Friday night at a house in Dayton believed to be vacant.

Smoke was showing from the two-story in the 2100 block of East Fourth Street.

Dayton firefighters inside the house were told to be careful due to holes in the floor. Also, firefighters said they found lit candles inside, according to radio scanner reports from the scene.

No one was found inside, and no injuries were reported.

An investigator was requested.
