1 taken to hospital after car crashes into guardrail near Springfield

One person was transported to the hospital after a one-vehicle crash resulted in a car hitting a guardrail on U.S. 68 north near state Route 41 near Springfield.

The driver of the car suffered a head injury, but additional details about their condition were not available.

The driver was reportedly not wearing a seat belt.

Ohio State Highway Patrol troopers are investigating what caused the crash. Speed is believed to be a factor.
