The collision left a gaping hole in the side of the restaurant, knocking out bricks and busting a large window, and the restaurant is temporarily closed.
Officials on scene said the building inspector reported the building did not sustain any structural damage.
Police said it’s not clear why the woman lost control of the vehicle.
Two children who were passengers escaped injury.
Ironically, a year ago this month a sport utility vehicle crashed into the corner of the same restaurant.
The driver in the 2015 crash was not injured.
