Aldi to offer delivery at Dayton-area stores

Aldi is adding grocery delivery to its Dayton locations.

Aldi has made significant expansion in recent months, including investing in technology for delivery, renovating and building stores and adding 40 percent to the fresh food section.

In the newest move, Aldi is expanding grocery delivery through Instacart to 5,000 new zip codes in 35 states and 75 major markets, including across Dayton and its immediate suburbs.

New-to Instacart shoppers can get $10 off their first three Aldi orders of $35 or more with the codeALDIDELIVERY461. Instacart costs $7.99 for one hour delivery and $5.99 for two-hour delivery, but price can increase during busy times. Shoppers can also get a yearly membership for $149, after which deliveries on order more than $35 will be free.

Other major businesses also use Instacart to deliver, including Kroger, Costco, CVS and Sam’s Club. A yearly membership covers all retailers.
