Amy Coveno joined the WHIO staff in 2004. She is a general assignment reporter who generally works nights, weekends and anchors Sundays at noon.
Amy has traveled extensively throughout the United States and Europe as an Air Force brat and wife. She did some growing up in Beavercreek and is pleased to be back in Dayton to raise her four children. Amy is a passionate storyteller who feels privileged to meet and write about people right here in the Miami Valley. Prior to moving back to Dayton, Amy worked as a reporter in Lowell, Massachusetts, as well as, a short stint on the assignment desk at WMUR in Manchester, New Hampshire. Amy earned a B.A. in broadcast journalism from Colorado State University, Fort Collins.
