25 appliances reported stolen from Oxford apartments

The property manager at Oxford West apartments told police 25 stoves and refrigerators had been taken from an area of the parking lot overnight.

The appliances were in an area between two storage units. The stoves and refrigerators had been rehabbed and were being kept for later use, according to the property manager.

Two residents reportedly told the property manager they saw two men loading units onto a truck overnight, according to a police report.

The stoves and refrigerators were described as mostly Frigidaire and biscuit color.

Estimated value based on use as possible scrap metal was placed at $600.
