Area Walmart property sold for $7.5M

A Walmart-anchored shopping center in Franklin has sold for $7.5 million to a Michigan real estate firm.

The Walmart property at 1275 E. Second St. was sold by an affiliate of Miamisburg-based RG Properties.

RG Properties developed the first phase of Austin Landing and built Walmarts throughout the region. The business owner Randy Gunlock announced his retirement four years ago though his firm, RG Properties, remains in operation and handles his remaining assets.

Warren County property records show the buyer is Agree Stores, a real estate firm based in Bloomfield, Mich. Messages were left with RG Properties and Agree Stores seeking more details about the sale.

The sale was recorded Nov. 19.
