Armed Robbery Involving A Gun At Dominos Pizza

Middletown police responded to an armed robbery at 11:58 p.m. on 606 N. University Blvd. at Dominos Pizza.

One of the Dominos employees ran to an off duty officer, in a marked police car, working a detail at Ameristop on N. University Boulevard, just east of the Dominos, and he reported the place got robbed.

The officer responded to the scene and observed the white male suspect running north on Nelbar under the overpass. The officer was obstructed by traffic and lost the suspect.

A Middletown Police K-9 tracked the suspect to the parking lot of Hillbilly Heaven bar on Atco where it is believed the suspect got into a car, a car was seen by the patrons of the bar leaving at a high rate of speed, however none of the witnesses could provide a description.

Officers said the white male is in his 20's, wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans with a cut off white t-shirt covering his face.

Officers said the suspect pulled out a black, semi automatic pistol and demanded money. The employees gave the suspect and undetermined amount of money.
