Baby Sitter Accused Of Child Porn Sentenced

James Lively pleaded guilty to 15 counts of child pornography. On Tuesday, he appeared before a judge to find out his sentence.

Lively told Judge David Gowdown that he could not find the words to address his crimes.

Lively was a baby sitter before he was accused by a parent of child sexual abuse. The allegation led police to Lively’s apartment, where they found child porn on his computer.

Police said the incident happened in July 2004. They said in December 2005 Lively pleaded not guilty to 15 counts against him.

Gowdown sentenced Lively to up to five years of probation. He also sentenced him to a year and a half of house arrest.

Lively could have faced 19.5 years in prison. He will also have to register as a sex offender.
