Bagger Dave’s now hiring; 4 more in the works

The first Bagger Dave’s Burger Tavern in Ohio, under construction at the Cornerstone of Centerville development, is hiring as it prepares to open in late September or early October, according to the restaurant chain’s chief executive.

And four more Bagger Dave’s are in the works in southwest Ohio, including locations in the Beavercreek, Springboro/Miami Twp. and West Chester areas, as well as one in the Anderson Twp. near Cincinnati, said Michael Ansley, CEO of Diversified Restaurant Holdings Inc., which operates 23 Bagger Dave’s restaurants in Michigan and Indiana. The company also operates 62 Buffalo Wild Wings Grill & Bar franchised restaurants in Indiana, Illinois, Michigan, Missouri, and Florida.

No leases have been signed yet for the other southwest Ohio Bagger Dave’s locations, company officials said.

The Cornerstone of Centerville Bagger Dave’s will seat about 160 and will employ 35 to 45, Ansley said.

The restaurant is hiring managers, bartenders, cooks and servers. For more information on the job openings, go to www.hralliance.net/Apply/FindPosition.aspx.

Ansley, a 1993 graduate of the University of Dayton, said Bagger Dave’s eateries “are full-service restaurants, not fast-casual with counter service.” Each Bagger Dave’s offers “build-your-own” and signature burgers, hand-cut fries, soups, salads, a collection of bourbons and 10 craft-beer taps that will include locally brewed beers, Ansley said.
