Services are only available free to non-Fifth Third customers until mid-July as part of a campaign promoting the Cincinnati-based bank’s jobs program, said Fifth Third spokeswoman Stacie Haas. After that, services will continue to be free to bank customers.
Further, 53 scholarships are available to any unemployed persons for one-on-one job coaching. The services are valued at $1,500 and selected applicants will receive more intensive coaching, weekly webinars and access to online job search software paid for by Fifth Third for the duration of up to 39 weeks.

The bank formally launched a job search program in early 2013 in partnership with NextJob, a Bend, Ore.-based reemployment company, to help struggling mortgage customers. Less-intensive online services were later made available for free to all Fifth Third customers, unemployed and underemployed. Now, in an effort to promote the program and individual participants trying to land a job, Fifth Third is offering the services to anyone for the next month or so.
