The picture, originally tweeted by James’ brother Matt, features their family dog Carson ‘celebrating’ his 12th birthday on Thursday.
Carson is shown laying on the floor with a ‘Happy Birthday’ banner draped around him. The caption of the photo from James’ mother said, “Here is the birthday dog celebrating his special day!”
But the priceless photo shows Carson appearing less than amused, and even rolling his eyes.

“He’s like any other dog; he has funny looks and its funny to capture them,” James said.
The photo started to pick up national attention Thursday afternoon, including an article written by the national outlet BuzzFeed.
“[Carson] is an old dog, but he still plays like a puppy,” James said.
James said he and his siblings often receive photos from their parents featuring Carson.
“Everything [in the news] is awful right now, a good dog pic is pretty funny” Matt explained to BuzzFeed on the reason he shared the photo on Twitter.
