Boehner's tears

Maybe if The Journal had printed Justin Coussoule's picture as often and as big as the pictures of John Boehner, he might have done a little bit better in the election. Instead, The Journal was so obviously in favor of Boehner — for whatever reason. I can't figure it out since he does nothing for Middletown. He's crying and so am I.

I would like to know who these thieves in Trenton are who are taking things from my yard that would mean nothing to them or anyone else. They have taken hummingbird lights (that) my sister in Alabama gave me. They have taken a rabbit that a friend in Florida gave me that I will never see again. They've taken a green frog, a yard ornament — nothing that's important to anybody. Why can't someone find who these people are?

I am just curious. Why can't we add the Daily Commuter Puzzle that is published every day in the (Lexington) Herald-Leader? It is stuck in the want ads every day and it doesn't take a lot of room. It is a lot easier for us crossword (puzzle) workers, rather than that complicated puzzle that is in The Journal. Please give us some consideration.

Regarding the Nov. 4 article that says that Anthem's parent company, reported $739 million in earnings for the third quarter: I am amazed — with all of the people being told they cannot have a procedure, an operation or a prescription that they so desperately need — they are being turned down. We are all paying an arm and a leg for insurance coverage from Anthem. They are paying a minimal out. How fitting that they are reporting $739 million in earnings.

Edgewood, you passed your levy. Good job, but now start tightening your belts. Turn off those big fancy lights on the football field over the weekend after the game is over. I would hate to see what your electric bill is. I know I've tightened my belt to cut my electric bill down.
