A boy is recovering today at an area hospital after being found not breathing in a Trenton pool Monday afternoon.
Trenton emergency personnel and police were called to Walnut Grove Swim Club on Pierson Road at about 1:47 p.m. for a child found in the pool not breathing, according to the police report.

Lt. David Rosenfelder said the pool staff was performing CPR on the 6-year-old when officials arrived. A lifeguard spotted the boy in the pool.
According to the report, the boy’s pulse and breathing was regained at 2:02 p.m.
The boy was transported to Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center by medical helicopter.
Rosenfelder said today that the child remains hospitalized.
