Bradford Ready To Celebrate One Of Ohio's Oldest Festivals

Residents of the Miami-Darke County community of Bradford are ready to host the 82nd annual Bradford Pumpkin Show, one of the oldest festivals.

The festival starts Tuesday, October 5th and ends Saturday the 9th. It features 6 parades in 5 days and is known for the tons and tons of confetti thrown every night except Wednesday, which is dubbed "No Confetti Wednesday".

Festival organizers Sunday morning were painting pumpkins along State Route 721, which is Miami Ave., the town's main street.

Korean War veterans will be special guests at the Extravaganza Parade on Saturday at 4 p.m.
