A release from the Darke County Health Department confirmed nine additional positive COVID-19 cases, bringing the total number of patients up to 12 for the county.

Ten cases are associated with the Greenville Health and Rehabilitation. The two other cases are unrelated to the facility or each other.
The Darke County Health Department would like to remind young people that not only are they potential carriers for the virus, they can become ill as well.

Two more cases of the coronavirus have been confirmed in Darke County by the Darke County General Health District.
Both cases are residents of Greenville Health and Rehabilitation in Greenville, according to a release.
“The facility is taking proper actions to help prevent the spread but other residents have experienced COVID-19 related symptoms and are awaiting test results,” they said.
These additional cases make a total of three confirmed in Darke County.
The first case was a male in his 20s who recently returned from Florida.
