The Cincinnati Reds have announced a new bag policy for the 2020 season and backpacks are no longer on the list of permitted items starting on Opening Day, March 26.
Items acceptable for entry include:
- Purses
- Medical bags
- Diaper bags
- Briefcases
- Drawstring bags
- Reds Heads Kids Club bags
- Small soft-sided coolers not exceeding 16" x 16" x 8"
The new policy is meant to enhance security and speed-up the process for entering the Great American Ballpark, the Cincinnati Reds said in a release.
“The overall fan experience is always our top priority as well as the safety and security of our fans, staff and players,” said Tim O’Connell, Reds vice president of ballpark operations.
