One flown to hospital after Butler Co. explosion

A male in his late twenties was flown to Shriners Hospital in Cincinnati after an explosion in Butler County.

Medics and police responded to the 7800 block of West Alexandria Drive in Madison Township around 7:50 p.m.

The male suffered burns to his face and hands, according to the Butler County Sheriff’s Office.

The sheriff’s office could not confirm what caused the explosion at this time.
