At least 1 taken to hospital after 3-vehicle crash that left Buick ‘wrapped around’ pole

UPDATE @ 7:43 p.m.:

A medic unit took at least one person to Grandview Medical Center from the crash at West Shadyside Drive and North Main Street in Dayton, according to dispatch records.

Initial reports indicate there was a head injury in the crash.

Details on how many were injured are unavailable.

INITIAL REPORT:

A three-car crash was reported around 2:40 p.m. on West Shadyside Drive and North Main St.

Two SUVs and one sedan were involved, with airbags deployed.

Montgomery County Regional dispatch records indicated a red Buick crashed into a pole. The front end was reportedly "wrapped around" the pole.

Injuries were reported and medic is on scene, but extent of injuries are not yet known.
