Rip Rap Road in Huber Heights is scheduled to be re-opened around 2:45 p.m if conditions stay the same.

Several roads across the region are shut down due to flooding and high water, according to dispatchers.
In Huber Heights, Rip Rap Road is closed due to high water from the heavy rain that moved through today.

In Miami County, high water signs were placed at Ohio 48 near Horseshoe Bend Drive, north of Ludlow Falls. Also in Miami County, our crew came across several high water reports on South Tipp Cowlesville Road and near Kyle Park.

Dispatchers for the Clark County Sheriff’s Office said the western portions of Clark County were hit hard with heavy rain. Park Layne, Enon, and Mad River Twp. were communities that are experiencing flooding and high water, according to dispatchers.

Flash flooding across the region is impacting drivers and residents as heavy rain continues to move through the area.

East North Street in Springfield was closed at Water Street due to high water around 10:30 Thursday morning.

According to the Darke County Sheriff’s Office, they’ve received several reports of high water covering roadways.
In Clark County, a trained weather spotter reported a flash flood with eight inches running across a stretch of Lower Valley Pike near Medway.
Our crew found high water in Enon, near the intersection of Enon Road and Grand Valley Drive. Police blocked Grand Valley Drive due to the high water.
“Heavy rain will continue this morning and one or two inches may have already fallen,” according to Storm Center 7 Meteorologist Kirstie Zontini.
“Flood prone areas should watch for minor flooding and avoid driving through any standing water.”
