“I’ve had no less than 50 to 100 messages about it,” said owner Larry Jaffe, who’s been in the jewelry business for 37 years.
Steven Bergstresser, assistant city manager in Kettering, said the city’s zoning code calls for any type of political signs on commercial property to require a permit on file with the city.
But the city doesn’t regulate what’s on those signs due to freedom of speech, Bergstresser said.
