3 Butler County hospitals earn top rating in patient safety

Three Butler County hospitals have earned an “A” rating in patient safety from The Leapfrog Group, an independent safety analysis organization.

West Chester Hospital, McCullough-Hyde Hospital made top honors again after earning the same grade in the spring. Both hospitals earned a “C” last fall.

Fort Hamilton Hospital earned an “A” this fall after a “B” in the spring and an “A” last fall.

Atrium Medical Center earned a “B” following an “A” in the spring and a “B” in the fall of 2015.

Bethesda Butler County earned a “B” following a “B” in the spring and a “C” last fall.

Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade uses 30 measures of publicly available hospital safety data to assign letter grades ranging from “A” to “F” to more than 2,600 U.S. hospitals twice per year.
