Butler Co. Tree Trimmer Struck, Killed By Train

Authorities in Butler county said a man who was walking to a job site was struck and killed by a train.

The victim, 44-year-old William Kingrey, of Camden, a tree trimmer for the Asplundh Tree Company, was struck by a train around 9 a.m. Monday on East State Street in Trenton.

Officers said Kingrey was crossing the trestle with his equipment to go to the other side of a work area, and apparently got caught and could not get off the tracks in time.

Emergency crews quickly responded and called the Butler County coroner to the scene.
