The 2012 Christmas in Trenton event is planned for Dec. 1, according to city officials.
Activities will commence at noon with the annual Santa Parade, which will travel through the city along State Street to Barn-N-Bunk on Wayne-Madison Road. Other activities throughout the day include a scavenger hunt, children’s holiday crafts, live entertainment and a tree lighting ceremony in Founder’s Park to close the event.
The local ministerial association, along with local boy scouts and cub scouts, will be collecting canned goods or a $1 monetary donation as admission to the scavenger hunt.
