Six years after a man was beaten to death, the alleged perpetrator is behind bars.

The So-Fast Marshal's Team arrested Benny Harper Tuesday at a home in the 4800 block of Philadelphia Drive in Dayton.

A Montgomery County grand jury indicted Harper in August for the 2006 beating death of Craig Gober.

Gober was found badly beaten laying in bed at his home in the 3700 block of Detroit Avenue in Harrison Township on September 14, 2006.  He had a severe head injury and died at Miami Valley Hospital on October 4, 2006.

Harper faces two counts of murder, two counts of felonious assault, one count of aggravated robbery and one count of being a felon in possession of a weapon.
