“The average high for mid October is in the mid 60s,” said Storm Center 7 Meteorologist Rich Wirdzek. “Highs in the mid to upper 50s are more standard for the first days of November, along with lows closer to 40.”
Some slight warming is expected after the weekend.
Showers will continue through this morning and a cold front will swing through during the day. Today’s high is expected to only reach the low 60s.
Thursday will bring showers in the afternoon and evening, Wirdzek said. It will be breezy and much cooler with little sun.
Friday will bring the best chance for a bit of sun followed by a partly cloudy Saturday.
Wirdzek said it’s too early to predict what the weather will be like for Halloween celebrations.
