Kroger, Meijer and Wal-Mart. are all looking to hire thousands of people quickly. The grocery chains are appealing to those workers in the travel, restaurant and entertainment industries who are currently out of a job because of the coronavirus.

MarketWatch reported other companies are hiring cleaners to scrub and sanitize businesses.
