Coroner: Auglaize Co. Teens Died Of Drug Overdose

Autopsies confirmed what the sheriff of Auglaize County suspected from the beginning. He said a heroin overdose killed the two.

Jesse Hicks IV, 19, of Lakeview and 17-year-old Katreena Latimore, of McGuffey, were found dead inside the apartment of East Ohio Street in mid-February.

The Auglaize County Coroner Dr. Thomas Fretag, said he is looking at whether multiple drugs may have been involved.

There was no indication that the teens had been murdered or that they had taken their own lives. Deputies said there was no sign of a struggle or foul play.
