Meanwhile, Kettering city officials confirmed this morning, Sept. 21, that they have received an application for rezoning for a potential new Raising Cane’s restaurant near the Stroop Road and Far Hills Avenue intersection. The site would include the former OinkADoodleMoo restaurant at 3910 Far Hills Avenue (the space previously housed a Chipotle restaurant and, decades earlier, the Kettering Village Inn) and some surrounding properties. A public hearing on the proposal is scheduled before the Kettering Planning Commission on Oct. 1.
Raising Cane’s Ohio officials declined comment on specifics regarding the Kettering plans.
