Woman injured in crash on Ohio 747 in Butler County

Ohio 747 north was closed in Butler County for nearly three hours after a two-vehicle crash on the Ohio 129 east entrance ramp sent one woman to the hospital Sunday.

Ohio 747 was closed at Hamilton Mason Road while the Butler County Sheriff’s Office investigated the crash, which was first reported around 11:47 a.m. The road reopened around 2:45 p.m.

A 25-year-old woman was initially taken to West Chester Hospital and then transported to University of Cincinnati Medical Center by a medical helicopter, according to Deputy Sheriff Nathan Ellcessor with the Traffic Investigation Division of the Butler County Sheriff’s Office.

The woman’s condition has not been released.

The two-vehicle crash sent a Chevy Cruze under a guardrail, trapping the driver. The driver was removed from the passenger side of the Chevy.

The second vehicle involved in the crash, a convertible Volkswagen Beetle, sustained heavy damage to its front.
