UPDATE: No injuries reported in crash involving Lakota school bus on overpass

UPDATE @ 2:36 p.m.

No one was injured in a crash between a school bus and truck on the Union Centre Boulevard bridge over Interstate 75, according to Barb Wilson, spokeswoman for West Chester Twp.

One student was aboard at the time, but Wilson said she didn’t have the age of that student or the name of the school that he or she attended.

INITIAL REPORT

Emergency crews are responding to a crash between a Lakota school bus and a truck in West Chester Twp.

Dispatchers made the call following a report of the incident at 1:19 p.m. in the area of Union Centre Boulevard and Interstate 75.

Officials were not able to say if there were children on the bus at the time. Emergency crews are on the way to assess the scene.
