Crews respond to car partially submerged in creek in Butler County

Butler County emergency crews are responding to a car partially in a creek in Hanover Twp. this morning.

The incident occurred in 3000 block of Hamilton Richmond Road — otherwise known as Ohio 177 — at around 8:15 a.m. Part of the road was being closed because of the incident, according to emergency scanner traffic.

Butler County dispatchers could not say if the accident is weather related, but report there haven’t been many accidents from the heavy rains this morning.

Scanners are reporting “a patient is extricated.”
