One man is dead and another was shot in the foot Friday afternoon in West Chester Twp.
Township spokeswoman Barb Wilson said police responded to a call of shots fired at 3:50 p.m. from an apartment in the 6900 block of Lakeside Drive in the Lakota Lake Apartments.
“Upon arrival, police found two males with apparent gunshot wounds. One male was deceased. The second male had a gunshot wound to the foot and was transported to West Chester Hospital,” Wilson said in a release.
The names of the two who were shot were not released, and neither was the victim’s condition.
Wilson said police are not looking for suspects and have no reason to believe there is a threat to the community.
The shooting remains under investigation.
