Hamilton Fire Department emergency crews responded to the scene of a possible injury crash involving a school bus this morning.
There were no children on the Hamilton school bus when it rear-ended a Ford Fusion at 7th and Dayton streets around 9 a.m.
The driver of the bus was cited for assured clear distance ahead. The driver of the car said she might have possible injuries, but she was not taken to the hospital for treatment.
Hamilton Sgt. Brian Robinson said the driver of the bus said her foot “slipped off the brake and onto the gas.” Police estimate the crash happened with the bus traveling at about 5 mph.
Minor damage to the car was reported.
