2 arrested after breaking into vacant Jefferson Township house

Deputies arrested two people Tuesday morning who are accused of breaking into a house, according to the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office.

Crews responded to Soldiers Home Miamisburg Road on reports of a suspicious vehicle at a vacant house.

Once they arrived, deputies surrounded the house and announced for anyone inside to come out after hearing noises inside the house.

A K-9 unit was requested to search the house where officers found one male and one female inside. Their identifies have not yet been released.

Both were charged with breaking and entering and transported to Montgomery County Jail.

This incident remains under investigation.
