The driver, a 25-year-old Mercer County man, slammed a full-size Dodge Ram pickup truck into the business, 219 Wayne St.
The incident happened just before 1:30 a.m., according to Fort Recovery police.
Chief Jared Laux said the driver “was charged and released on citation for OVI and failure to control.”
The driver, who did not reside in the village, was not injured, and police did not release his name.
Pak-A-Sak, which is open 24 hours, boarded up the damaged portion of the building and remains open, the chief said.

A vehicle crashed into the Pak-A-Sak convenience store early this morning in Mercer County.
The incident happened just before 1:30 a.m. when the store, 219 Wayne St., was still open, according to Fort Recovery police.
There were no injuries, but one person apparently was cited.
