Couple indicted on charges related to drug raid behind bars

A Dayton couple indicted this week on drug trafficking charges following a raid in February at their home are now behind bars.

John P. Wilson and Danielle O'Connor were booked this morning into the Montgomery County Jail.

They were arrested shortly before 5 a.m. by Huber Heights police at a home in the 5200 block of Lemoyne Drive in Huber Heights. They are now scheduled to be arraigned Tuesday.

DAYTON — A couple was indicted this week on numerous drug trafficking charges following a raid early this year at their Dayton home.

Arrest warrants were issued Wednesday for John P. Wilson, 31, and Danielle N. O'Connor, 33, who were indicted by a Montgomery County grand jury.

The pair was arrested Feb. 2 after a raid by the Montgomery County RANGE Task Force at a home in the 100 block of Bierce Avenue that detectives said netted 17 pounds of marijuana and marijuana edibles, cocaine, two handguns and several thousand dollars in cash.

Wilson was indicted for felony trafficking in marijuana; trafficking in cocaine; possession of marijuana, possession of cocaine; having weapons while under disability for a prior offense of violence; three counts of aggravated possession of drugs; and a misdemeanor drug paraphernalia offense.

O'Connor was indicted for felony trafficking in marijuana; trafficking in cocaine; possession of marijuana; possession of cocaine; three counts of aggravated possession of drugs; and two misdemeanor counts of endangering children and a misdemeanor drug paraphernalia offense.

An arraignment is scheduled for July 20 in Montgomery County Common Pleas Court.
