Dayton weekend shooting ruled a homicide

The death of Bernard Little, 47, of Dayton was ruled a homicide by Montgomery County Coroner Dr. Kent Harshbarger.
The cause of death was a gunshot wound to the head, a release from the coroner's office said.

Jeremy J. Stewart, 25, is facing two counts of murder and two counts of felonious assault, according to Dayton Municipal Court records.

He was arrested at the scene of the shooting around 12:30 a.m. Sunday, according to the jail booking site.

Police responded to 58 East Maplewood Avenue on a reported of a shooting around 10:30 p.m., April 11, said Lt. Jason Hall.
