Duo arrested in Fairborn Circle K robbery

A duo is in Greene County Jail on charges related to a Circle K robbery.

Sgt. Mark Stannard of Fairborn police said Bryan J. Goney, 38, and Magen N. Branham, 27, both of Dayton, were arrested early Sunday.

The pair is accused in a robbery at Circle K, 1150 E. Dayton-Yellow Springs Road, around 1:24 a.m. Sunday.

One of the suspects observed a Circle K employee outside of the store and reportedly displayed a gun and ordered her back into the store. The suspect demanded money and then fled in a U-Haul van.

The employee was not injured, according to police.

The U-Haul van was later found by Greene County sheriff’s deputies at a Circle K in Xenia.

Goney faces charges of aggravated robbery, kidnapping and abduction. Branham was charged with complicity to aggravated robbery and complicity to robbery.
