Duo robs First Bank Richmond branch

The First Bank Richmond branch at a Kroger store was robbed this afternoon and police are looking for a man sporting a bandage on his face and a woman who was driving the getaway car.

The man who walked to the branch inside a Kroger store on National Road told tellers he had a weapon, but did not show one, Richmond police said.

He left after being given an undisclosed amount of cash and got into a gold, two-door car being driven by a white female.

The robbery occurred at about 1:30 p.m.

Police say the robber is black, believed to be in his 30s and is roughly 5 feet 9 inches tall. He wore a sock cap as well, according to police.

We'll update this story as details become available.
