On March 28, 2013, Hagler and an accomplice allegedly entered a home in the 400 block of Pleasant Avenue and held the residents at gunpoint while they were robbed of their cell phones, keys, and money, law enforcement officials say. A warrant was issued for Hagler for aggravated robbery and burglary.
After determining that Hagler was staying at an address on Riverview Terrace in Dayton, the SOFAST team arrested Hagler without incident. Hagler had been on the run for a year and in that time picked up several other charges. Hagler was wanted for aggravated robbery, burglary, fleeing and eluding, intimidation of a crime victim, and domestic violence.
Dayton SOFAST is comprised of members from the United States Marshals Service, Dayton Police Department, Springfield Police Department, Montgomery County Sheriff's Office, Clark County Sheriff's Office, Shelby County Sheriff's Office, Miami County Sheriff's Office, Wright State University Police, Ohio Adult Parole Authority, Greeneville Police Department, Grandview Hospital Police Department, Oakwood Police Department, Ohio State Highway Patrol, and the Springboro Police Department.
