Greenville man pleads guilty in brother's shooting

A 30-year-old Greenville man pleaded guilty Tuesday in the May shooting of his brother.

Kody L Clark's plea to felonious assault was part of an agreement with the Darke County Prosecutor's Office, according to court records.

Clark was arrested May 17 at his home on Nottingham Way and later indicted for felonious assault with a gun specification.

The gun specification, which could add to the sentence, was dropped as part of the agreement, according to court records.

Investigators said Clark shot his 24-year-old brother, Ky Clark, of Mooresville, Ind., in his left thigh during a heated argument at the Nottingham home.

Clark's 8-year-old son was reportedly sleeping in the residence at the time.

Clark faces a maximum sentence of 8 years and a $15,000 fine when he returns for his sentencing hearing in December.
