3 injured in 2-vehicle wreck in Shelby County

Three passengers were taken to a hospital suffering from minor injuries Thursday evening after their car collided with a minivan that traveled through the intersection of State Route 48 and Russia Houston Road.

The car, which a Shelby County sheriff’s deputy said failed to yield at the intersection, continued into the path of the minivan.

Deputies and rescue units were dispatched at about 5:40 p.m. on a report of a two-vehicle accident with multiple injuries.

The three people in the car were taken to Wilson Memorial Hospital in Sidney.
