2 kids injured after 7 rounds fired into Harrison Twp. house

Two kids were taken to Dayton Children’s Hospital after they were “grazed” by bullets fired into a Harrison Twp. house Monday morning, according to the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office.

Both kids had non-life-threatening injuries. At least was taken for treatment by a family member, according to dispatch records.

A woman at a home in the 3700 block of Evansville Avenue reported the shooting around 7:32 a.m.

“We’ve been having some problems with my nephew,” she told a 911 dispatcher. “This morning he just came here and shot up my house.”

The woman added that her granddaughters were sleeping on the floor and “they got grazed.”

About seven rounds were fired into the front the house, where the kids were injured, according to deputies.

The sheriff’s office is continuing to investigate.
