James Goodson, 24, was arrested by Trotwood police and is charged with aggravated robbery and kidnapping, according to court records.
Goodson remains in the Montgomery County Jail on a $25,000 bond.
Investigators are still looking for a second person that may be involved in the robbery and anyone with information on the crime is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 222-STOP.
UPDATE @ 9:50 a.m. (Jan. 11):
Trotwood police confirmed a robbery took place at the KFC restaurant and the robber got away with an undisclosed amount of cash.
The restaurant was closed at the time of the robbery and employees were there preparing to open for lunch.
No arrest was made. Police did not release any further details about the robber and what happened.
EARLIER
Officers in Trotwood and from Harrison Twp. are investigating a reported robbery at the KFC restaurant, 5321 Salem Ave.
The armed robbery was reported at approximately 9:10 a.m.
A K-9 unit was working to try to track the robber down.
