A man police recognized was arrested Thursday morning at the RTA bus hub downtown.
Police located a man who had an outstanding theft warrant. He was carrying two Aldi bags that contained 48 packs of Energizer batteries, 34 packs of BIC lighters and six Energizer flash lights, according to a Dayton police report.

The man told police some of the items were purchased and some were stolen.
He was transported to the county jail for his outstanding warrant and an unrelated charge, the incident report stated, but he is no longer listed in jail.
