Miami County deputies searching for counterfeit check suspect

Miami County deputies are seeking help in a search for a suspect involved in attempting to pass a counterfeit check.

The suspect tried to pass a counterfeit check at a local bank in Tipp City last week, according to the Miami County Sheriff’s Office.

The bank teller describes the male as missing several teeth and having a lazy left eye.

Anyone with information is encouraged to call the Miami County Communication Center at 937 440-9911, or leave an anonymous tip on the website www.miamicountysheriff.org.
