His official cause of death has not been determined by the coroner’s office, but an autopsy will be completed Thursday morning.

Dwayne Marshall, 29, has been booked into the Montgomery County Jail on a murder charge.
Marshall was arrested at 1 a.m. at the Dayton Safety Building, 225 West Third Street.
Late Wednesday, police said the suspect in a fatal shooting on Catalpa Drive had turned himself into police and was speaking with detectives.

Dayton police Sgt. John Riegel said the suspect in Wednesday night’s fatal shooting turned himself in to police.
“Preliminary investigation indicates that two family members (were) involved in an altercation; one of the family members shot the other one,” Riegel said.
The victim was found deceased from a single gunshot wound. The shooting victim and suspect, both males, are cousins, the sergeant said.
“He turned himself in; he’s currently speaking with homicide detectives,” Riegel said.
It’s not clear what led to the shooting, reported shortly before 9 p.m. in the 1200 block of Catalpa Drive.
“Some sort of fight took place, which resulted in one getting shot,” Riegel said.
Witnesses are cooperating, and detectives are getting further information from the suspect, he said.
The suspect and victim have not been identified.

Dayton police homicide detectives are on scene tonight of a fatal shooting reported just before 9 p.m. in the 1200 block of Catalpa Drive.
A possible suspect vehicle seen leaving the area at the time of the shooting was described as a gray 2008 Chevrolet Impala. The suspect inside the car is to be considered armed and dangerous, according to police scanner traffic.

Dayton police are investigating a fatal shooting tonight on Catalpa Drive.
A sheet is covering a body in the 1200 block of Catalpa Drive, where a shooting was reported just before 9 p.m. Yellow police tape surrounds the crime scene.
Homicide detectives were called to the scene. It is not clear whether police have any suspect information, nor what led to the shooting death.
