Surveillance video shows the suspect in both robberies appear to be the same man wearing a dark hoodie with the hood up who displayed a gun, according to police radio traffic.

No shots were fired and there were no injuries this evening during an armed robbery at a Walgreens in Trotwood, police said, despite earlier reports.
A pharmacy employee said they heard “robbery” and someone say a shot was fired at the store, 5271 Salem Ave. The customers and employees ran to the back of the store, jumped over the pharmacy counter and locked themselves inside a room in the back, the worker said.
Later this evening, the employees were standing in the lawn in front of the store talking to police. The three to four customers were allowed to leave after giving their statements.
The suspect was described as a male who displayed a gun who was wearing black pants and a black hooded sweatshirt with the hood up, according to the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office.
Trotwood police would not provide further details, but said a statement would be released Thursday.

Police are responding this evening to a report of an armed robbery with shots fired at a Walgreens in Trotwood.
The incident was reported around 6:20 p.m. at the store, 5271 Salem Ave.
According to initial reports, at least one shot possibly was fired. It is not clear whether anyone was hurt.
